Like so many of you, after many weekend trips to Julian, I decided to make my dream come true, change my lifestyle and move to the country. That was 25 years ago. Here, I have raised my two, beautiful children, Shaun & Jennifer. They are both in college and still love coming home. It has been said "It takes a village to raise one child." Fortunately, Julian is the kind of town that is a safe and nurturing place to raise children. I am married eight years to a wonderful man.
Originally from Bayside, Queens, I moved to San Diego in 1978. My career centered around the corporate marketing/administrative world. When I first moved to Julian, I was enthralled with my new lifestyle, being newly marriage and the prospect of starting a family. One of my new neighbors offered me a waitress position at the Julian Café. At the time, it was "the place" to work in Julian! So, I changed professions and became a waitress for the first time in my life. I thoroughly enjoyed working & meeting many people and being a part of their Julian experience. Thus, began a new chapter of my life.
Having a home has always been essential for me. I feel whether you rent or buy, your home is your haven and safe place. A place everyone needs. I always felt I had an instinctive talent in helping people reach the dreams and goals. I am an "idea" person. That, in combination with my strong feeling of the importance of home - made me a natural for going into real estate. The gratification I get from "making the match" of assisting people to find their "haven" is what gives me the greatest satisfaction and is my joy. I listen to and take the time to know my clients. I am honest in my advice and realistic in my approach in today's ever-changing climate.
I have watched the changes in Julian over the last ten years. Being one of the many that lost their homes in the 2003 cedar Fires, I have seen Julian's transformation into an even stronger community. The friendships I made during that time have remained unchanged. As a matter of fact, most of my clients become my friends! I am dedicated to my family and my extended family of friends and clients alike.
I am, now, back at Mountain Farms Realty, where I first started and enjoy being in town once again. I have been very fortunate to work with a terrific group of people in my ten year real estate career. I am knowledgeable and experienced in land and home sales in Julian as well as the San Diego area. Buying or selling a home is a big decision and can be very stressful. I do my best to be your stress holder, hoping to make the experience an exciting and joyful one. To be a part of that process is an honor I hold dear.
